Welcome!

Welcome to the official Town of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin government website!  Baileys Harbor was founded in 1849, after Captain Justice Bailey was seeking refuge in a storm a year earlier.  Baileys Harbor was the first County seat in Door County.  Today, the current estimated population is 1,227 and Baileys Harbor offers a wide array of parks, food, shopping, arts and nature.

Meeting Schedule*

  • Plan Commission - First Monday of the month
  • Town Board - Second Monday of the month
  • Parks Committee - Third Monday of the month
  • Sewer Committee - Fourth Monday of the month

*Schedule is not set in stone and can be subject to periodic rescheduling. Please note that special meetings may be called with 24 hour notice in official posting locations. Those locations are: Baileys Harbor Town Hall, Nelson's Shopping Center, Baileys Harbor Post Office, and 57 Depot. Though not technically "official" per state statute, agendas for every meeting will also be posted on this website.

NOTICE

Special joint meeting of the Baileys Harbor Town Board and Baileys Harbor Parks Committee will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 7:00PM in the meeting room at the Town Hall, 2392 County Road F.  Discussion and decision may be made on any agenda item.  Deviation of the agenda may occur.

  2. Verify posting/accept agenda
  3. Discuss/decide bids for repairs to the cupola on the Town Hall
  4. Discussion on/possible approval of a bulkhead line ordinance in relation to the proposed Anclam Park landscaping plan
